The basic issue that prompted our capacity building initiative is that the organization must address how to free up more of the Executive Director’s time so that she can engage in fundraising activities and building relationships that lead to financial and in-kind support for the agency.

To date, we have focused on establishing the structure that will help the organization access volunteers who participate in the work of the organizations as board members, advisors, administrative support and unpaid program staff.”
